Valve releases a massive update to Half-Life and gives it away for free on Steam until November 20: the event is dedicated to the game's 25th anniversary

On November 19, 1998, Valve's first game, Half-Life, was released and became a cult title without exaggeration. This month, the project is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and to mark the occasion, the company decided to give the game away for free on Steam until November 20.
Here's What We Know
Valve has also released a major update to the game. Now, the first-person shooter has improved graphics, added 4 new maps for online mode, fully optimised the project for Steam Deck, added support for gamepads, restored some old content, fixed dozens of bugs, and more. At the same time, the authors prepared a set of themed wallpapers and released a documentary dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the game.
