Ubisoft has announced that development of the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake has passed a certain milestone
After the shock that gamers received from watching the announcement trailer of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake in autumn 2020, the public is sceptical about the project.
But Ubisoft does not give up hope to release a worthy updated version of the classic game and back in 2021 removed the Indian division of Ubisoft Mumbai from the project and put it in the hands of experienced developers from Ubisoft Montreal.
Here's What We Know
Developers from Ubisoft Montreal broke the silence and in honour of the 20th anniversary of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time announced that the development of the remake "has passed some important stage". They didn't go into details, but it's likely that full production of the game has begun.
Recall that back in May of this year, the long-suffering remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was at the stage of forming a development team and working out the concept.
Obviously, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake won't be released in 2024, but by the end of 2025, the updated game could finally be out.
