Steam has seen an unprecedented surge in interest in Battlefield V: 82 per cent off has attracted more than 90,000 players

Exactly one month ago, Battlefield 2042 recorded a record number of players in the game's three years of existence. Then it was due to the start of the sixth season of Dark Creations, which was preceded by a week of free access to Battlefield 2042.
Now a similar trend is observed with another part of the series.

Thanks to the 85% discount that is currently available on most Electronic Arts games on Steam, gamers have turned their attention en masse to Battlefield V, a game that was released in 2018 and has never been very popular.
According to SteamDB statistics, the game has recorded almost 91,000 concurrent players in the last 24 hours, which is an absolute record for a shooter.
