CD Projekt is accelerating work on The Witcher: Polaris and has brought more than half of its staff into the game's development process

CD Projekt has summarised its third quarter 2023 results and released its financial report.

Yesterday we reported about successful sales of Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. Now let's turn our attention to equally important aspects.

Here's What We Know

CD Projekt's CFO Piotr Nielubowicz revealed that the company is increasing the number of employees working on the next instalment of The Witcher franchise. At the moment 330 people are involved in the work on the game codenamed The Witcher: Polaris, which is more than half of the total number of developers of CD Projekt team. Moreover, by the middle of 2024 it is expected that their number will exceed 400 people.

In addition, the representative of the company said that there are other projects on The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 franchises in development, and they are not games! It's already known that one of them will be a film with live actors based on Cyberpunk 2077.
