Episode 3: Birth of Dogtown is especially relevant for those who plan to play the Phantom Liberty expansion, as it tells the story of the origins of Dogtown.

This area was originally intended to be an elite tourist complex and it had every chance to be so. But due to the events of the Unification War, the investors' plans went awry. Kurt Hansen, a member of the Militech Corporation, was assigned to prepare Dogtown for the surrender to the New United States. The invasion never happened, but Hansen refused to lay down his arms and took over the neighbourhood, becoming the ringleader of the Dogtown underworld.
