16 minutes of gameplay and details about pirate action game Skull & Bones in a new video from Ubisoft
Long-suffering pirate action game Skull & Bones, the release of which was postponed six times, yesterday received the 7th version of the release date and began to grow new details.
Here's What We Know
Ubisoft developers released a 16-minute video explaining the main elements and mechanics of Skull & Bones.
The game starts with a shipwreck, in which the hero (with the player's chosen appearance and gender) survives and together with his assistant Azna begins to "build a career" as a pirate.
At first, the player only has access to basic ships and guns, but as the hero gains Infamy, various upgrades will be unlocked. With a set of Infamy, you can access risky quests offered by reputable and powerful pirates, such as attacking a fort, robbing a naval convoy and other equally exciting activities.
You can go through the story and additional tasks in Skull & Bones either alone or in a company with two players.
The action game provides a lot of opportunities to improve and customise ships, and each item installed on the ship affects the characteristics of the ship, so even the furniture on the decks has an impact on the gameplay.
Encounters with other players take place on the seas and oceans. There are various ways to interact with them, such as teaming up, trading, or attacking them.
You can view the characteristics of another player by using a spyglass.
When We Can Expect It
Skull & Bones is scheduled for release on 16 February 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
