There will be no TimeSplitters relaunch: Embracer Group has shut down Free Radical Design studio

In November, the media reported that Embracer Group holding company was planning to close Free Radical Design studio.

A new victim of restructuring and optimisation of the Swedish holding became the developers of the once popular shooter series TimeSplitters.

The company's website now has a sad message: "404 Company Not Found :-(".

Recall that in 2021, it was thanks to Embracer Group and its subsidiary publisher Deep Silver that Free Radical Design studio was able to reassemble the team and start working on a new part of TimeSplitters. Now fans of the series will most likely not see the return of TimeSplitters.
