Here's What We Know
Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, the brother of the founder of Rebel Wolves, has joined the young team consisting of former employees of CD Projekt RED.
As part of CD Projekt RED, Mateusz was the quest director of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and was personally responsible for many storylines of the cult RPG, as well as the quest director of Cyberpunk 2077.
The Tomaszkiewicz brothers have excelled at CD Projekt RED and their work was largely responsible for the success of The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077.
In Rebel Wolves, Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, who left Riot Games a few weeks ago, will take the position of Creative Director, which will allow him to directly manage the development team and contribute his ideas to the workflow.
It is known that the debut project Rebel Wolves is a role-playing game in a dark fantasy setting, which should be the beginning of a large-scale franchise and is being created on Unreal Engine 5. According to unconfirmed information, the game is called Dawnwalker: Origins and, as the developers expect, will revolutionise the RPG genre.
It should be reminded that Rebel Wolves has signed a partnership agreement with the Chinese corporation NetEase, which guarantees the Polish studio a virtually unlimited budget.
