We wrote that after the latest update, Monster Hunter: Rise stopped running on Steam Deck after the last update. However, Capcom has now fixed the situation.

Here's What We Know

The studio apologised to the players and announced that it had released a patch that fixes the problem with the game not launching on Steam Deck after installing the 16.0.2.0 update.

We would like to remind you that Capcom surprised gamers with a strange decision: in its old games, it removed Denuvo protection, but added Enigma Protector DRM protection from developers from the terrorist country of Russia. This protection was added to combat mods in their games. So, it's probably the addition of this protection that broke the game for a while, but modding fans are already looking for solutions to bypass the Enigma Protector in all Capcom games.
