Pokémon-related mods for Palworld can no longer be published on NexusMods
The survival shooter Palworld, also called "Pokémon with guns", is one of the most popular games nowadays. And yes, the creatures in the game resemble the well-known Pokémon, but this was not enough for some people, and mods were created to add Pokémon, not creatures that look like them. However, the authors of one of the most popular mod sites have announced that they will hide such content.
Here's What We Know
The NexusMods team reminded that Nintendo, which owns the Pokémon franchise, has already filed lawsuits and removed content created by fans.
The administration also explained that they did not want to take any risks by allowing such content to be distributed in the community. After all, at best, they would have to deal with the headache of legal threats from Nintendo, and at worst, the company could take action against NexusMods.
However, the authors of NexusMods have nothing against Palworld mods that do not violate intellectual property.
Where To Play
Palworld is available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Game Pass.
