The creative director of Star Wars Outlaws talked about the uniqueness of locations in the game and the variety of planets
Ubisoft Massive's creative director Julian Gerighty gave an interview to GamesRadar+, in which he talked about the approach to creating locations for Star Wars Outlaws action game.
Here's What We Know
Julian Gerighty said that in his wanderings bandit and adventurer Kay Vess will visit several planets, and, as already familiar to fans of the Star Wars universe, and previously unseen.
Each planet is created in such a way that its appearance and atmosphere were unique, but at the same time competently complement the plot of Outlaws.
On all the planets players are expected unexpected adventures and exciting tasks. For example, at some point gamers will be able to travel to the iconic Tatooine, where they will work for Jabba the Hutt and his criminal Syndicate.
We evaluated the locations by looking at their themes and potential gameplay opportunities. It was important to us that each location had a thriving underworld that could offer unique and interesting situations for a thief like Kay.
One of the brand new locations will be Toshara Moon, where something unexpected awaits players.
When We Can Expect It
Ubisoft Massive has yet to reveal a release date for Star Wars Outlaws, but the game is expected to release in 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
