A documentary film dedicated to perhaps the most famous game designer Hideo Kojima was released in the summer of 2023.

The film "Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds" (Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds) was highly appreciated not only by fans of the Japanese developer's games, but also by his colleagues.

Here's What We Know

The documentary Connecting Worlds tells about Kojima's creative path, his views, approach to work and his brainchild - Kojima Productions.

Such celebrities as Guillermo del Toro, George Miller, Nicholas Winding Refn, Norman Reedus, Grimes, Woodkid and Chvrches took part in the creation of the film.

The film was directed by documentary filmmaker Glen Milner.

Streaming service Disney+ has announced that the film will also be available to its subscribers from 23 February. However, we note that at the moment the information is posted only in the Japanese publika Disney in X.

Recall, the main works of Hideo Kojima are considered a series of Metal Gear and Death Stranding. At the moment the maestro is working on the sequel to Death Stranding, experimental horror OD and recently announced ambitious next-generation action game Physint. Earlier leaked footage of a certain Overdose project from Kojima Productions appeared online, but it's still unclear whether it was the game now known as OD or Kojima's fourth secret project.
