A new milestone has been set: Helldivers 2's simultaneous online reach on Steam is almost 156,000

As we wrote earlier, Helldivers 2 became Sony's most successful release on Valve's platform ever - the game's peak online reach reached 82 thousand people, but according to the SteamDB database, the current maximum number of online players is 155,926.

Also, Arrowhead Game Studios CEO Johan Pilestedt previously reported that the game's sales exceeded any internal estimates, reaching one million within a few days of release. Currently, the developers are planning to release free updates for the game with new content: biomes, enemies, quests, and story updates.
