Six million in six years: Kingdom Come Deliverance developers brag about game sales
The developers from Warhorse Studios are celebrating the sixth anniversary of the release of their role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance these days.
Here's What We Know
Czech game designers reported that sales of the unusual RPG in the setting of medieval Bohemia reached 6 million copies. Considering some budget and technical imperfection of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, this is an excellent result for such a niche game.
The game tells about the difficult life of a medieval peasant, who by the will of fate was drawn into the maelstrom of political and military events in Central Europe.
RPG caught the players with non-trivial gameplay and the authors' claim to realism of events. According to unconfirmed information, Warhorse Studios is currently developing the second part of Kingdom Come, and most likely the sequel will receive a much larger budget and strong marketing support.
