Shrek is one of the most beloved characters in animated films.

There are several video games about the charismatic green ogre and his comrades, but all of them are old and hardly any of them could be called AAA-project.

Surprisingly, there are no big-budget and complex games from well-known developers about this colourful character. However, the enthusiast showed how such a project would look like nowadays.

The author of the YouTube channel TeaserPlay created a concept trailer of the game about Shrek on the Unreal Engine 5.

Of course, it is only a two-minute video, but it shows that with the use of modern technology hypothetical Shrek game could look impressive and colourful.

On the presented shots you can see the detailed and, no matter how it may sound strange, realistic world of the fairy-tale game.

The author didn't forget about the famous donkey, which has impressive facial animation, as well as his wife Draconicha.

Looking at these shots it's even a pity that such a game doesn't exist, but maybe for someone this video will become an inspiration and he will realise this idea.

P.S. Assassin's Creed reference looks twice as funny with a corpulent Shrek in the main role.
