Last Epoch developers reveal details of the 1.0 update ahead of the game's official release on February 21
The adventure RPG Last Epoch is preparing to leave early access on February 21, so the developer Eleventh Hour Games has published a description of the patches for the upcoming 1.0 update on its official forum, along with a trailer:
Here's What We Know
An important addition is the introduction of item factions, allowing players to join either the Merchant's Guild or the Circle of Fortune. Each faction offers choices that affect how players obtain new loot throughout the game.
The update also adds an offline mode accessible via the Steam interface, where players can choose between regular and offline play. In offline mode, players will notice minimal differences, such as a hidden online character tab and a disabled region selection drop-down menu. Players will also be able to freely switch between the two factions without losing reputation, which should encourage experimentation and customisation.
In addition, the update includes a number of changes affecting every aspect of the game, including classes, passive abilities, unique and set items.
Where To Play
Last Epoch is available on Windows, Linux, and macOS via Steam.
