The recently unveiled image of Lara Croft does not reflect her image in the next instalment of Tomb Raider

Last week Crystal Dynamics published an artwork with the updated appearance of Lara Croft.

It was logical to assume that this is how the heroine will look like in the next part of the Tomb Raider franchise, but the developers denied this assumption.

Here's What We Know

Crystal Dynamics representatives in an interview with Vandal explained that the presented art is just an art on which the studio's artist combined the traditional look of Lara Croft with the image of the heroine from the last three parts of the series.

As stated, in the future game the tomb raider will look different, but how exactly - is not specified.

The next game is created in cooperation with Amazon on Unreal Engine 5, and this is where the information about the game ends.

Recall, a few days ago was the release of the compilation Tomb Raider I-III Remastered.
