Ultra-realism in every frame: the first gameplay video of the unusual shooter Bodycam is presented

Developers from Reissad Studio have published the first and quite extensive gameplay video of Bodycam shooter.

Bodycam largely repeats the concept of another project - Unrecord, which in 2023 caused a lot of discussion, struck by its realism and left a lot of questions.

The main feature of Bodycam, as the name suggests, is that the events of the game are shown from the perspective of a body camera attached to the character, rather than the usual view from the eyes.

Unlike Unrecord, Bodycam is a multiplayer game, which is shown in the video. The authors demonstrated intense battles in deathmatch mode, in which the shootouts do not stop for a second.

The game is fully stylised as a real video chronicle: the faces of allies and enemies are hidden by censorship.

Notably, players can use not only firearms, but also drones to scout the situation.

Bodycam is being built on Unreal Engine 5 and will be extremely demanding on gamers' computers.

Bodycam's release date is not yet known.
