Steam set another record of attendance: 34.3 million users were on the service on March 2
Digital service Steam continues to set records for the number of simultaneous users.
Here's What We Know
The previous record of attendance was recorded in Steam on 7 January, when 33,675,229 people entered the service.
Two months later - on March 2 - in the service Valve set another record: 34,298,950 simultaneous users.
At the time of writing the news at (12:30) CET there are 30.3 million people online on Steam - there is a chance that this record will be broken today, especially given the popularity of new co-op games such as Palworld, HELLDIVERS 2, Last Epoch and, of course, the regular leaders in terms of player numbers - Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2.
Interestingly, Steam has seen a steady increase in traffic since August 2023, probably helped not least by the immense popularity of Baldur's Gate III.
