Here's What We Know
In answers to the most frequently asked questions, the developers said that the game will have seven maps from the start: Katabatic, Wavemist, DryDock, Dangerous Crossing, Torment, Hollow, and Raindance - all of which will have different landscapes and biome types, from snowy on Katabatic to tropical on Hollow.
In Tribes 3: Rivals, players can customise their equipment with a variety of weapons, including iconic Tribes franchise weapons such as spin guns of various formats, bolt grenade launchers, and chain guns.
The game has a ranked mode for the main Capture the Flag game, which features 7-on-7 battles with systems similar to games such as Valorant and Apex Legends. Microtransactions in Tribes 3: Rivals are limited to cosmetic items only, as confirmed by the studio.
