It's official: high FPS in Dragon's Dogma 2 is only available on PC

The developers of Dragon's Dogma 2 have finally clarified at what performance the ambitious RPG will run on different platforms.

Here's What We Know

Dragon's Dogma 2 game director Hideaki Itsuno confirmed that the game will run at 60 FPS or higher only on PC.

Unfortunately for console users, on PS5 and Xbox Series the frame rate will be around 30 FPS, but since it will be unlocked on all platforms, some locations may see a performance boost or, on the contrary, a performance drop.

Perhaps, when the intermediate generation console, such as PlayStation 5 Pro, will be released, gamers will be able to run Dragon's Dogma 2 with high frame rate not only on PC. At the moment, there is no such technical possibility.

When We Can Expect It

Dragon's Dogma 2 will release on March 22, 2024 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
