We wrote that Techland is still considering the option of adding crossplay to Dying Light 2. However, in addition to this question, Dying Light franchise director Tymon Smektała answered other questions.

Here's What We Know

MP1ST media asked if the authors were thinking of making Dying Light 2 a full-fledged game service, as the studio managed to create a loyal fan base. Tymon said that back in the days of the first Dying Light, the studio found a successful formula: first, everyone gets the full version of the game, and then, if they wish, players can buy additional content in the form of DLC or cosmetic items. Although Techland has no plans to change its approach, it is closely monitoring all the most relevant industry trends, as game development is becoming more complex every year.

Tymon was also asked how the studio managed to achieve success and gather a large audience. Smektala believes that the key is the relationship with the community. When the studio wins, it celebrates together, and when it fails, the community supports and helps. Authors and players treat each other with respect and understanding. Techalnad is open with its audience. Tymon calls it a "secret formula".

Where To Play

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is available on PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series.
