Old company, new name: Gearbox Publishing has been renamed Arc Games

At the end of March it became known that Embracer Group Holding sold almost all assets of Gearbox Entertainment, the new owner of which became the American publisher Take-Two Interactive.

It was immediately stated that Gearbox Publishing San Francisco division will remain with Embracer Group, but it will be renamed.

Here's What We Know

It's official: Gearbox Publishing has been renamed Arc Games, and the company's first public appearance under the new label will take place tomorrow at indie developer show The Triple-i Initiative.

Arc Games still owns the rights to Remnant, Homeworld 3, Neverwinter, Star Trek Online, Hyper Light Breaker, Have a Nice Death and a number of other projects, while the famous Borderlands shooter series is now owned by Take-Two Interactive.
