Google's Pixel 6 fingerprint scanner has been found to have another serious problem - it fails when the smartphone runs out of power.
The day before the editorial gg wrote about the fact that it is possible to unlock the Pixel 6 with someone else's fingerprint. Users are also complaining about the slow performance of the biometric sensor, but Google says it takes time to scan the fingerprint more accurately.
It has now been revealed that the scanner fails if the battery is completely drained. Pixel 6 owners have started reporting this on Reddit. And in some cases, even a factory reset doesn't help.
Failure is not a chip of the fingerprint scanner. Google is already aware of the problem and is working to fix it.
