According to billbil-kun the main free game of September for PS Plus subscribers will be the crime action game Saints Row (2022).

The game will be available from 5 September, but it is not yet known what else Sony will offer in addition to this game.

Saints Row is an open-world action game from Volition Studios in which the player is asked to lead a gang and take over the underworld in Santo Ileso, a fictional city in the southwestern United States.
