The PlayStation 5 version of Baldur's Gate 3 is getting top scores from critics. Console gamers will get a great game

Baldur's Gate 3 will be released on PlayStation 5 tomorrow (September 6, 2023).

Journalists had the opportunity to be the first to try out the console version of the game and were satisfied with the work of Larian Studios.

Critics note that Baldur's Gate 3 runs great on PlayStation 5 and offers two graphics modes - Quality and Performance.

Frame rate in some locations drops noticeably, but perhaps with the help of patches the developers will fix this shortcoming.

Controlling the game with DualSense is generally convenient and clear, but because of the huge number of possibilities, controlling characters with keyboard and mouse is still more convenient.

The PlayStation 5 version of Baldur's Gate 3 received the same high scores on aggregators as for PC.

Thus, on Metacritic the game received 97 points, on Opencritic the game has 96 points (including both versions) with 100% of recommendations.
