3 new colours for gamepads and panels: Sony unveils Deep Earth collection for PlayStation 5 accessories

Sony has decided to create a large collection of interchangeable panels and gamepads for the PlayStation 5 so that every gamer can find something they like. And during the State of Play broadcast, the company announced a new collection called Deep Earth. It will appear this year.

The collection will include three colours for gamepads and panels: volcanic red, cobalt blue, and silver. Each of these colours will have a smooth metallic finish. Sony explained that this was done to "add sophistication".

Design of the "Deep Earth" collection

Pre-orders for the Deep Earth collection will begin on 4 October. Gamepads and panels in volcanic red and cobalt blue will go on sale on 3 November, and silver ones will be available on 26 January.

A gamepad will cost $75, and a set of two panels will cost $60. Players in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Portugal will be able to place an order on direct.playstation.com. Residents of other countries will have the opportunity to purchase the sets from distributors. The red and blue versions will go on sale on 3 November, and the silver version will be available on 26 January.
