Rumour: All PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive The Calisto Protocol and Farming Simulator 2022 in October, third game is unknown
Famous insider billbil-kun, who often reveals accurate information about the games that will appear in the PlayStation Plus subscription, has published information about two games that will be given away to all active PS Plus users in October.
Here's What We Know
The first game will be The Calisto Protocol, a third-person survival horror. We play as Jacob Lee, a victim thrown into Black Iron Prison, a maximum security prison located on Jupiter's moon, Callisto. When the inmates begin to transform into monstrous creatures, chaos engulfs the prison. And now Jacob needs to survive and deal with all the secrets of this place.
The second game is Farming Simulator 2022. This is a sandbox game where the player has to create their own farm, harvest, take care of animals, perform various tasks with the help of modern equipment, and become a leading farmer.
The third game is unknown. Although the biggest surprise here is that The Calisto Protocol was released on 2 December 2022. It is very rare for a game to be included in Sony's subscription when it is less than a year old. Probably, things are so bad at Striking Distance Studios that the game had to be sent to the Essential subscription. This is even evidenced by the fact that the founder of the studio, Glen Schofield, has left it.
When We Can Expect It
You will be able to take the games to your library from 3 October.
