No limits: thanks to a huge number of special settings Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be available to all categories of gamers. The developers told us about the game's accessibility settings
As with all of Sony's recent games, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will feature a huge number of accessibility tweaks for gamers with disabilities.
Here's What We Know
Developers from Insomniac Games published a detailed material in which they told about special settings in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
In the new superhero action game players will be able to change almost every element of the game: to adjust the control for themselves, to simplify some aspects of gameplay, to adjust the volume of sound effects, music and dialogues, to disable high-frequency or low-frequency sounds, to simplify or disable QTE-segments.
An unusual and interesting innovation will be the ability to slow down the game by 30, 50 and even 70%!
Players with visual impairments will be able to use the option to automatically voice text and interface elements - this feature will be introduced in the December update.
Marvel's Spider Man 2 will have full support for the special Access controller, previously known under the working name Project Leonardo, designed specifically for people with disabilities.
When We Can Expect It
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will release on 20 October on PlayStation 5 only.
