The favourite without competition: Baldur's Gate 3 voted the best release of September by PlayStation players

Sony holds a monthly vote on the PlayStation Blog for the best game of the month available on PlayStation. In September, Baldur's Gate 3 became the favourite of gamers.

Here's What We Know

EA FC 24, Lies of P, Mortal Kombat 1, The Crew Motorfest, Cocoon, and even NBA 2K24, which entered the Hall of Shame on PC, and other projects also competed for the title of the best game of September. And while there were good releases this month, such as Lies of P, Mortal Kombat 1, and Cocoon, Baldur's Gate 3, which was released on 6 September on PlayStation, is out of the running.

And although Baldur's Gate 3's score on Metacritic has recently been undercut by bots that have been giving it only zeroes, the choice of players makes it clear that someone is jealous of Larian's success.

Currently, Baldur's Gate 3 has 96 points from critics and 8.9 points from players on Metacritic. The game is also included in the Metacritic Must-Play rating.

Baldur's Gate 3 is available for Windows, Mac, and PlayStation 5. An Xbox Series version is also in development.
