The The Last of Us Season 2 will start filming only in early 2024 and will be released no earlier than 2025

HBO CEO Casey Bloys has announced that the Season 2 of The Last of Us TV adaptation will start filming in early 2024.

Here's What We Know

Casey said that the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes delayed the production process, and the second season should not be expected on the screens until 2025. However, the authors have already fully written the sequel, so the team just has to wait for the day when filming will start.

The first season was a real success for HBO and received 24 Emmy nominations, so the second season became known even before the first season finale was released.
