On November 8, Sony released a new software update for all PlayStation 5 users, but it's different from the previous ones.
Here's What We Know
The update weighs 850 MB, but during its installation, the console does not even restart as usual. The screen simply says "Do not switch off PS5", a little time passes, the screen goes black for a second, and everything works again. After installation, there is also no indication of what new changes gamers have received.
PushSquare suggested that the update was created to improve the security system and prevent hacking of the console. Perhaps Sony will later explain what the update has brought, but for now, we're inclined to go with PushSquare's theory.
