Final Fantasy XVI's game director has revealed the first details of two upcoming add-ons
It is known that Square Enix is working on two add-ons for Final Fantasy XVI.
Their details are still unknown, but the game director Hiroshi Hiroshi Takai (Takai Hiroshi) shared some information about DLC.
Here's What We Know
In an interview with Japanese publication Game Watch, Hiroshi Takai revealed that the additions will focus on expanding the story of Final Fantasy XVI protagonist Clive Rosfield and will show "his darkness and mystery".
The developer also mentioned that the expansions will reveal additional details about the continent of Valisthea, where the events of the game unfold.
Square Enix intends to add new powerful creatures to the DLC that will challenge even the most experienced players.
The DLC release is still a long way off, but in the meantime the developers announce that on the 8th of December they will release a free update for Final Fantasy XVI, which will introduce significant changes to the arcade mode and add a new leaderboard.
