The first add-on Echoes of the Fallen is already available for Final Fantasy XVI. Square Enix also announced the release date of the second DLC

The Game Awards 2023 show saw the official unveiling of two add-ons for the highly-acclaimed Final Fantasy XVI.

Here's What We Know

Square Enix has announced two expansions - Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide.

The first paid DLC has already been released and is available to play. Its events will unfold before the final battle of Final Fantasy XVI, and the duration will be about 3 hours.

In Echoes of the Fallen players will find a new location, additional equipment items and dangerous enemies, which were not present in the original game.

The second addition called The Rising Tide will be released in spring 2024. Its details will be presented later, but there will be a lot of new content.

At the moment Expansion Pass, which gives access to both DLCs, is discounted on the PS Store.

Final Fantasy XVI is only available on PS5, but it is known that a PC version of the game is also in development.
