The Last of Us Part III - is to be! Franchise creator Neil Druckmann has confirmed that a new part of the game is already in development

Today, Naughty Dog Studios released the documentary Grounded II: The Making of The Last of Us Part II, revealing a huge amount of interesting details about the process of working on the famous game.

The creator of the franchise and creative director of Naughty Dog Neil Druckmann was so candid that he revealed what fans of the post-apocalyptic action game wanted to hear.

Druckmann openly admitted that his team is working on the third part of The Last of Us!

The idea and concept of the game is not yet formed, but Druckmann said that the main character of the new instalment could be Tommy - the brother of Joel, the protagonist of the first part of The Last of Us and one of the key characters of the sequel.

Of course, it is not a fact that this idea will be realised in the next game and the developers of "The Last of Us Part III" may well change their minds, but the idea sounds interesting and fits organically into the franchise's plot.
