Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will feature over 400 music tracks, bonds and folios according to the director
Amidst the breathtaking visuals and extensive features of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, music plays an equally important role. According to the game's director, Naoki Hamaguchi, the development team sought to honour the original game's tracks while pushing the creative boundaries to create innovative arrangements that match the emotions of each scene.
Here's What We Know
The director confirmed that the game will have more than 400 new tracks and promised that the number will increase over time. Depending on the connections made through the story, the feelings of your companions may change. This extends to who can accompany you in the Golden Saucer, which includes "allies that were not available in the original".
In addition, combat synergy and connections are directly affected by your party level. The higher the party level, the more synergy teams become available through Folio, a new mechanic introduced in Rebirth. Players can experiment with different party combinations, especially since Folios can be dropped at any time.
Where To Play
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth for PlayStation 5 will be released on February 29.
