Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth will support 4K at 60 FPS

At the latest State of Play presentation, a lot of details about Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth were shown. Thus, director Naoki Hamaguchi confirmed that the game will work in Performance and Graphics modes.

Here's What We Know

In the Performance mode, players will be offered 60 frames per second at 4K resolution. Hamaguchi stressed that the game takes full advantage of the PlayStation 5, including resources with a significantly higher resolution than Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The enhanced performance is complemented by near-instant load times thanks to the console's solid-state drive.

In addition to the technical aspects, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth also includes the capabilities of the DualSense controller. Adaptive triggers and haptic feedback provide a fully immersive experience, offering a distinctive rumble sensation during scenes, exploration and combat. 3D audio support has also been confirmed for players with compatible settings and headphones.

Where To Play

Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth will be available on PlayStation 5 only.

When We Can Expect It

The game will be released on February 29.
