Arrowhead Game Studios, the developer of the cooperative shooter Helldivers 2, has announced plans to release an update for the game to address some of its "most serious issues", as it told on its Discord channel.

The upcoming update, which will be released this week, will be aimed at solving problems such as finding partners, logging into the game, and server load. The studio emphasised that although the first update is inevitable, it may not solve all problems at once. Instead, it is committed to making continuous improvements over the coming days and weeks. Addressing the Helldivers community on Discord, the studio said

"We have improvements rolling out this week focused on the most serious problems in the game: login, matchmaking, and server load. You will see one update for PC and PS5 tomorrow, though please keep in mind that no single update will solve all the issues. Rather, we will be making continuous improvements over the days and weeks to come".
