It has happened after all: Hi-Fi Rush is officially announced for PlayStation 5 with a release on the 19th of March
As many rumours have suggested recently, Tango Gameworks' surprise Xbox hit from early last year, Hi-Fi Rush, will be released on PlayStation 5 on 19 March. Initially, the announcement was made on Bethesda's YouTube channel in Latin America, but the video was quickly taken down for some reason. In any case, the official trailer is currently available on the main Bethesda Softworks channel:
Here's What We Know
Hi-Fi Rush is a stylish action game where everything is synchronised with music. Players take on the role of Chai, an aspiring rock star who accidentally gains electromagnetic powers during a corporate experiment that goes awry. Now, imbued with music, Chai must use his rhythm-enhanced fighting skills to fight the evil mega-corporation responsible for his transformation.
The game was originally released unexpectedly at the end of January 2023 for Xbox Series and PC, as well as on Game Pass. The game received good reviews from both critics and players: 87 and 89 points on Metacritic respectively and 96% recommendation on OpenCritic.
