"New Game+", extra costumes and colourful tentacles: major details of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 major update revealed

Insomniac Games studio has revealed details of a major update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2, which will be released in March.

Here's What We Know

A lot of new features and nice little things will appear in the highly appreciated game:

• New Game+ mode will give the opportunity to replay the adventures of the two superheroes, keeping all the abilities and improvements from the first playthrough;
• the possibility of repeated passage of individual tasks;
• additional styles for Symbiote's costumes, as well as the ability to change the colour of his tentacles;
• a set of Marvel's Hellfire Gala costumes for both characters;
• a set of Golden Gadget skins;
• additional photo mode functionality;
• the ability to change the time of day after the main story is complete;
• audio description and screen-reading features for the visually impaired.

The update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will also include the Fly N' Fresh set, which will include stickers and frames for the photo mode, as well as two additional costumes. The set will sell for $5, with all proceeds going to charity. After 5 April, the Fly N' Fresh kit will become free.

When We Can Expect It

The update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be released on March 7.
