Media: Sony has cancelled the development of the new part of Twisted Metal
Over the last few years, the network has repeatedly reported that Sony, in addition to the series based on the once popular game Twisted Metal, is creating a new part of the series.
The series has already been released and received quite good reviews, but the new game, apparently, is not destined to please fans.
Here's What We Know
Yesterday it became known that Sony Interactive Entertainment will fire about 900 employees of its internal studios, including British Firesprite, which was working on the new part of Twisted Metal.
Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier reported that according to his sources Sony cancelled the development of the new part of Twisted Metal. According to available information, the game was in the early stages of production and the company could not decide whether to revive the project or not. Against the background of the upcoming reorganisation of its studios, the Japanese developer made a final decision to close the project.
The last part of Twisted Metal was released in 2012 and did not gain much popularity.
