Silent Hill 2 remake has received an age rating in South Korea - the game's release date could be announced soon
Konami and Bloober Team studio are in no hurry to reveal the release date of Silent Hill 2 remake.
At the beginning of January Sony released a video about the main novelties of 2024, among which the updated version of the cult horror was indicated.
Here's What We Know
Perhaps the release of Silent Hill 2 Remake will take place very soon, this is indirectly indicated by the age rating given to the game by the certification agency of South Korea.
The organisation's experts stated that the game is strictly not recommended for under 18s, as it, like the original, contains many shocking scenes and sensitive topics.
The assignment of the age rating usually takes place shortly before the release of the game, so we can expect that in the coming months the developers will name the official release date of the long-awaited remake.
It's worth noting that after the last Silent Hill 2 Remake reveal, many gamers thought the game looked raw and far from perfect. Director of Bloober Team Piotr Babieno calmed the public with the statement that in the unsuccessful trailer Konami somehow showed an early version of the game, and in fact it looks much better.
Silent Hill 2 Remake will be released as a PlayStation 5 exclusive, but will eventually be available on PC.
