POCO C31: MediaTek Helio G35 chip, 5000mAh battery, P2i protection, for $115

In addition to Motorola, Xiaomi also held an event in India today, September 30. The Chinese manufacturer introduced a new budget smartphone POCO C31.

What we know

This is the second smartphone of C-series. The novelty got a two-tone plastic body with P2i water-repellent coating, as well as a 6.53-inch display with IPS matrix and HD+ resolution. At the top of the bezel, they installed a teardrop-shaped notch with a 5 MP front-facing camera. The primary one, on the other hand, got three 13 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP sensors. 

The POCO C31 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 processor and the battery of 5000 mAh is responsible for the performance. According to the company, it will last for two days of use. In addition, the battery will withstand up to 1000 recharge cycles. The novelty still installed 3/4 GB RAM, 32/64 GB ROM and a classic fingerprint scanner. By the way, the specifications of the device is very similar to the smartphones of the Redmi 9 line.

Price and when to expect

Sales of POCO C31 will start on October 2 with a starting price $115. The novelty will be exclusive to the Indian market.
