POCO M6 5G: budget smartphone with 90Hz screen, MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chip and 50 MP camera

Apart from OPPO, Xiaomi has also announced a new budget smartphone with support for fifth generation network in India.

The novelty has been named POCO M6 5G. The gadget received a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor and a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The screen is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protective glass. It has a peak brightness of 600 nits.

POCO M6 5G comes with 4/6/8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256 GB UFS 2.2 storage. The novelty has a microSD card slot for up to 1TB, a 5000mAh battery with 18W charging, Bluetooth 5.3, a 50 MP main camera, a 5 MP front camera and a water droplet resistant body. Out of the box, the POCO M6 5G runs Android 13 operating system with MIUI 14.

POCO M6 5G sales will start in India on the 26th of December. The novelty will be priced from $115.
