Pre-orders for Assassin's Creed Shadows look very strong, although Ubisoft hasn't even shown the game's gameplay
Ubisoft opened the pre-order of the game after the first trailer of Assassin's Creed Shadows. Some people were outraged by this, because the studio has not even shown the gameplay yet, but only presented a cinematic trailer. However, this probably did not prevent a certain percentage of players from paying for the game, as one trailer was enough to make them pay for it.
Here's What We Know
Famous insider Tom Henderson said that "pre-orders for Assassin's Creed Shadows look very strong". Tom doesn't have any hard numbers, but he noted that no one is disappointed with the figures.
Flashback
In Assassin's Creed Shadows, players will follow the story of two protagonists: a samurai of African descent, Yasuke, and a shinobi girl, Naoé.
Their life stories were not connected, but by the will of fate, the heroes are forced to work together to fight the Order of the Ancients, which seized power in Japan. In June, the developers promise to demonstrate the first gameplay trailer of Assassin's Creed Shadows. Obviously, this will happen at Ubisoft Forward on 10 June.
When We Can Expect It
Assassin's Creed Shadows will be released on 15 November 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
