There is important news for users of older DJI Phantom quadcopters. The technology giant DJI has announced the end date of servicing for some drone models.

What we know

As of September 30, 2022, DJI will no longer provide maintenance and technical support for DJI Phantom 2 (2.4G) and DJI Phantom 3 4K quadcopters. The Chinese company recommends upgrading the drones to newer models.

Production of both quadcopters ended in 2017. For five years, the company provided support services for the drones.

Now the only current quadcopter in the series is the model DJI Phantom 4 Pro RKT, but most stores do not have it in stock. This is due to the fact that the company has bet on the commercial drones DJI Matrice.
