realme C55: 6.72-inch FHD+ display at 90Hz, Helio G88 chip, NFC and a Dynamic Island counterpart to the iPhone 14 Pro for $162
Realme has unveiled a new budget C-series smartphone.
Here's What We Know
The model has been named realme C55. The gadget has a 6.72-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and an 8MP front-facing camera hole. Incidentally, this is the first Android smartphone to have a Dynamic Island counterpart like the iPhone 14 Pro. The feature is called Mini Capsule. It displays some notifications, number of steps, battery charge and more.
The realme C55 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 octa-core processor paired with 6/8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage. As for the main camera, it's dual in the novelty. The main sensor has a resolution of 64 MP. It is complemented by a 2 MP depth sensor. The smartphone also has a lateral fingerprint scanner, an NFC module for contactless payments and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W of charging. The gadget charges to 100% in 63 minutes.
The novelty comes with Android 13 operating system and the proprietary realme UI 4.0.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The realme C55 has so far made its debut in Indonesia. Sales of the smartphone will start on March 8. The novelty will cost from $162. In other countries the gadget will be presented a little later.
