Redmi 12C: budget smartphone with Helio G85 processor and 50 MP camera for just $100
Toward the end of 2022, Xiaomi has decided to introduce another new product - the budget smartphone Redmi 12C.
How Much Does It Cost?
The Redmi 12C has a 6.71-inch HD+ display with small bezels and a teardrop cutout for a 5-megapixel selfie camera. On the back is the main camera unit with two modules. The main sensor is 50-megapixel, and the resolution of the second one the manufacturer does not specify, but it is most likely a depth sensor.
Inside there is a Helio G85 processor and a 5000 mAh battery. There are several versions to choose from with 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB of storage. The smartphone runs MIUI 13 (probably based on Android 12).
In addition, the smartphone has a microUSB port, a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Redmi 12C costs between $100 and $130, depending on the version. In China, sales will start on January 1, and there is no word yet on availability in other markets.
