Redmi's cheapest smartphone gets MUI 12.5

Xiaomi has released a stable version of the firmware MIUI 12.5 for the cheapest smartphone of the current ones, which are in the range of brand Redmi.

We are talking about Redmi 9A model. It debuted in the summer of 2020 in Malaysia, and eventually appeared in Europe and the Chinese market. The smartphone worked out of the box with MIUI 12 firmware and Android 10 operating system.

Xiaomi began officially distributing MIUI 12.5 software as v12.5.1.0 QCDCNXM in China. The filmware is also built on Android 10. At the same time, a test build with Android 11 has already been leaked to the Net. Update number - v12.5.0.2 RCFCNXM, and you can install it only through custom recovery mode.

Recall that Redmi 9A features a Helio G25 processor with 2-4GB of RAM and 32-128GB of integrated memory. The Chinese version of the smartphone goes on sale at a price starting at $85. It comes with a 6.53" HD+ IPS screen, 8MP primary camera, 5MP front-facing camera and a 5000mAh battery.
