Redmi Note 12 Pro with MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chip, 50 MP Sony IMX766 camera and 67W fast charging unveiled outside of China

Following the Redmi Note 12 5G, Xiaomi announced in India its improved version - Redmi Note 12 Pro.

Here's What We Know

The smartphone has the same 6.67-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution. The panel has support for frame rates of 120 Hz. Despite the use of OLED matrix, the sensor for fingerprint scanning is not under the screen, and on the side edge. Novelty, unlike the younger model, got a processor MediaTek Dimensity 1080. The chip is paired with 6/8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage. The battery capacity of the smartphone is the same - 5000 mAh, but the charging power has been increased to 67 watts.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro comes with an IR sensor, x-axis linear vibrator, stereo speakers, dual SIM cards, 5G, WiFi 6, GNSS, NFC and USB Type-C. As for the cameras, the smartphone has four: a triple main 50 MP (Sony IMX766) + 8 MP + 2 MP and a single 16 MP front.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Redmi Note 12 Pro will start selling in India on January 11. The smartphone will cost from $300.
